One of the most exciting operas to come from China recently, Voyage to the East is the story of Jianzhen, the Chinese monk credited with spreading Buddhism to Japan during the Tang dynasty.

After a successful tour in Europe, Voyage to the East came to America to perform at Lincoln Center and needed updated key art for a new audience.

We created a full exploratory of looks for the American launch of this epic opera.
